RESPONSIBILITIES:
l Serve as a technical “expert” in a specific area by providing technical advise and leadership as needed. The area mentioned includes process, machine, and material of film/foil material processes such as die cutting, slitting, or automation.
l Recognized by peers and management as a “stand out” technical leader
l Provide training and leadership internally to improve the Company’s level of technical competence in a specific technical field
l Knowledge in one or more of: assembly process and machines / jig materials / fasteners
l Provide technical leadership to Design Teams, Engineers, Production and support personnel.
l Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups
l Generate/facilitate documentation per engineering procedures and Laird Technologies requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
l High level of technical expertise and understanding in die cut related machine, material, and process.
l Recognized externally as technical expert by industry peers
l Demonstrated leadership capability, ability to work in a team environment.
l Good problem solving, decision-making, time-management and organizational skills.
l Skills in AutoCAD
l Knowledge in one or more of: assembly process and machines / jig materials / fasteners
l Personal computer skills such as MICROSOFT OFFICE and relational database.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
l Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or technical field. Experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
l Experience/knowledge in manufacturing processes preferred.
l 3+ years experience manufacturing
l 5+ years design experience.
